An exceptional Riesling created by a benchmark German estate. Balance, harmony and concentration define this wine which has particularly good length on the palate. More info

The structure, finesse and purity of fruit in this cuvée, from an extremely well-known vineyard, are truly impressive. However, to allow it to express its subtlety, this magnificent Riesling also needs time to age. Its nose offers up aromas of very ripe, white-fleshed and citrus fruits (peach, apple, lemon) and apricots. The palate is well-balanced, harmonious, and very mineral with flavours of almond and a concentrated but light palate. The finish is long and tangy.

Riesling Joh. Jos. Prum Sonnenuhr Auslese Gold Capsule serve at a temperature of 11°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Tarte au munster, Tarte au poireaux et au saumon frais, Bouchées à la reine.

Information about domain Joh. Jos. Prum

The Joh. Jos. Prüm domaine, along with Egon Müller, is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after German domaines. It is located in the Middle Moselle Valley, one of the most northerly wine-producing regions in the world. The vines can sometimes keep their leaves right through to December and the cool climate gives the Riesling fruity and floral aromas and high levels of acidity. Joh. Jos. Prüm belongs to the VDP - Die Prädikatweingüter, a prestigious association of Germany’s finest wine producers. His Rieslings are equally magnificent in their dry forms – Kabinett trocken, Kabinett – and sweet strong iterations (Auslese, Spätlese, and Trockenbeerenauslese). Each cuvée preserves the outstanding freshness which is typical of the Mosel-Saar region.
