A rich and unctuous blanc de noirs that the domain advises pairing with a spicy dish! More info

This Champagne, from the lieu-dit Le Clos de Poiloux, is made from Pinot noir grown on a parcel that spans 7,800 square metres. Produced in limited quantities, this cuvée is vinified in oak casks before ageing for at least 7 years. The estate opts for an extra-brut dosage of 3.5g per litre.
In the glass we find a lovely, golden champagne with an almost amber hint to it. It gives off lightly oaky and buttery notes with indulgent aromas of vanilla and caramel. This is balanced by fruity aromas of citrus and quince. Unsurprisingly, this cuvée is rich and unctuous on the palate. Ample and complex, it persists on a vanilla note and is carried by a mineral underscore.
This characterful wine should have a place of choice at your table. It can be paired with a dish like chicken tagine with candied lemon or delicate fish with mushrooms.

Lieu-dit Le Clos de Poilloux Extra-Brut Xavier Leconte serve at a temperature of 10°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Filet de sandre aux morilles, Purée de panais aux noisettes, Tajine de volaille et citrons confits.
