  • La Maison Quevedo offers a port made with destemmed grapes which are fermented at length at a controlled temperature. Its light hue with orange highlights is an immediate winner. It has a rich bouquet of maple syrup, caramel and praline secondary notes. There is a subtle contrast on the palate, with well-integrated tartness. The finish is intense with touches of nut and roasted flavours. This Colheita port is a perfect pairing with full-flavoured foods such as roast chestnuts or crème brûlée.

The Quevedo house is a family business which belongs to the up-and-coming generation of independent wine producers in the Douro Valley. Its wines achieved an international reputation in 1986, when Portugal joined the European Union and introduced new measures around exports.
