The Château du Domaine de l'Eglise is the oldest property of Pomerol. It belongs to the Castéja family (Batailley and Trotte-Vieille). 95% of the 7 hectares of the domain are planted in Merlot (the rest in Cabernet Franc). This wine is discreet but highly sought after by amateurs.
