A fresh, supple and persistent Loire Valley Merlot. More info

This wine is produced from 50-year-old Merlot vines cultivated on a granitic terroir with all the advantages of a south, south-east facing aspect. The berries are harvested by hand and macerated for three weeks and the wine is aged in barriques (60%) and terracotta amphorae (40%). The nose is very refined, with red fruit aromas, and the supple palate is balanced by a fresh acidity which also gives it persistence.

Vin de France La Monnerie Jérôme Bretaudeau serve at a temperature of 15°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Châteaubriand à la sauce béarnaise, Caille rôtie, Darne de thon rouge.
