  • This cuvée is appreciated for its fruitiness. Its colour is deep and dark while its nose unfurls an aromatic palette that shines a spotlight on red and dark fruits (redcurrant, blueberry and blackcurrant) as well as cinnammon and coriander. Its opening its fresh and direct with a lingering fruitiness. A wine to be enjoyed among friends.

Xavier Braujou has been running the family-owned Terrasse d'Elise domain since 1998. Keeping quality as his constant watchword, he has chosen to reduce yields dramatically (to around 20 hl/ha) and to work with old grape varieties. In particular, he has opted for certain cuvées to work with single varieties, showcasing his Cinsault, Carignan and Mourvèdre grapes – too often considered only as grapes for blending. Although not certified, the vineyard is run according to organic and biodynamic principles.
