A delicious Pinot Noir wine produced in Burgundy according to organic and biodynamic methods. Fruity aromas and a dash of spice are underlined by a lingering minerality. More info

It is a blend of Pinot Noir grapes from different terroirs in the Mâconnais, that meld into this wine. The Guillot brothers, who have been running the estate since 1991, carefully cultivate the vines, which are rooted in clay soil with a high concentration of silt. The two winemakers also draw inspiration from biodynamic practices to produce a very pure expression of their terroir. This terroir, similar to that of the region’s wines, offers surprising minerality and length, reminiscent of the great appellations of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits.
To ensure the aromas remain authentic, the cuvée is matured for six months in concrete vats, allowing the fruit to express itself fully in the bottle. In the glass, the wine takes on an intense, dark ruby colour, expressing a powerful fruity bouquet. Candied fruit and hints of pepper are on the agenda, enhanced by a pleasant minerality that lingers right through to the finish.

Mâcon Cinquième Génération Guillot-Broux (Domaine) serve at a temperature of 15°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Champignons Portobello, Andouillette grillée, Gougères au fromage.
