  • This wine comes from one of Tuscany's most highly-reputed appellations. The local climate makes this wine particularly intense and robust. The wine, produced exclusively from Sangiovese, has received 36 months' élevage in 20-hectolitre wooden vats. Its ruby appearance reveals aromas of roses, black berries and earth. The attack is velvety and generous. Its aromatic persistence makes it a good pairing for food of character.

Although the Gianni Brunelli domaine is small, it boasts a big reputation. It straddles two different aspects of the appellations (clayey soils to the north, schist and limestone soils to the south) and therefore provides an insight into the Tuscan terroir with its two Brunellos. The domaine actually only produces two wines: its standard wine and a Riserva in exceptional years.
