The wine

Grown on rocky soil, the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Beaux-Monts is aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months. It is defined by a velvety smoothness, presence, elegance and depth. Aromas of cherry and raspberry develop over time into kirsch notes.

Founded by Claude Bertagna in the 1950s, Domaine Bertagna has belonged to the Günther Reh family for over thirty years, and over the last few years has enjoyed significant investment designed to modernise it, pushed forward by its current manager Eva Reh-Siddle.
