The wine
Armonio is a blend of Black Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet cultivated on parcels where cool nights counterbalance the high daytime temperatures. These conditions are ideal for slowly ripening late varieties such as Cabernet. After harvesting by hand, the grapes are fully de-stemmed and fermented in concrete vats. The wine is aged in new barriques for 21 months. This southern wine is dark in colour with an intense nose of dark fruits with toasted notes. It is fair to say that the palate is imposing. Its tannins are delicate and a fresh structure makes this wine very pleasant to drink. It can be aged for 10 years and is perfect with grilled meats.
