La Fugue de Nénin is the second wine of the château, developed since 1997. The nose is very expressive with notes of red fruits and a well-rounded, very fine mouthfeel with silky tannins.
About the Producer Château Nenin
Since its purchase in 1997 by the owners of Léoville-Las cases, Nénin has joined the ranks of Pomerol's great wines. The vineyard consists of gravel on an iron-rich soil, and thanks to a return to traditional methods, the resulting wine is now more complex and powerful.Only 30% to 40% of grapes are selected for the grand vin. The remainder is destined for the second wine: La Fugue de Nénin. Eric Boissenot is the consultant oenologist.
