The wine

This blend of grapes from old Grenache and Syrah vines, cultivated in clay-limestone soil, has been matured in tanks. Its bouquet reveals an aromatic richness composed of intense notes of cocoa, licorice, pepper and red berries. The palate is marked by silky tannins, and has a long finish with fresh liquorice and menthol touches.

About the Producer Lancyre

Since the 16th century, Château de Lancyre has dominated over the hills and plains of the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation. Since the 1970s, the estate took a new approach with their 78 hectares of vines. The reds, rosés and whites produced here are distinct for their balance and strong personality.
