The wine

These grapes are sorted and chosen with great care, and only in the finest vintages. After the alcoholic fermentation, there is a 6-month maturation period. This is a generous wine with notes of spice and black fruit.

About the Producer Château La Verrerie

Sitting in the heart of the Lubéron region, Château La Verrerie once had 20 hectares of vines which were harvested and vinified in a cooperative. Since it was bought back by Mr. Descours in 1981, he has expanded it the domain to cover its current fifty hectares which are tended according to organic principles (they received organic certification in 2009). The terroir is calcerous-clay covered in scree, producing 70% red wines, 20% rosé and 10% white.
