The wine

This château produces balanced, light wines low in tannins. It is a feminine wine but has a substantial capacity to age. Very richly coloured, it develops aromas of leather and spices, with mellow tannins. Overall, this wine has an elegant, generous character.

About the Producer Château Sigognac

Located in Saint-Yzans on the ruins of a Roman Villa Ausone, it is part of AOP Médoc. The team has made the judicious choice of a moderate extraction to obtain more fruit and savouriness.
