The wine
The red wine has a strong ruby colour, with a hint of violets. The nose is intense and reveals a very pleasant, ripe aromatic fruitiness. It develops concentrated aromas of blackcurrants and blackberries with a background of mild spices and liquorice, and a slightly smoky, floral peak.

Château Respide-Médeville is in the commune of Toulenne near Langon. The property is meticulously managed by Christian and Andrée Médeville. The vineyard is planted on gravelly soil on a clay subsoil. This château offers elegant, good-quality wines.
