The Pauillac Special Reserve is a generic cuvee of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild. It is produced with the same style as the other wines of the Rothschild chateaux, but it is meant to be tasted more quickly.

The Domaines Barons de Rothschild is the Rothschild family group with their wine properties (Château Lafite-Rothschild, Duhart-Milon, Rieussec, Gospel, Paradis Casseuil, Peyre-Lebade, Château d'Aussières in Languedoc, Vascos in Chile, and Bodegas Caro in Argentina). The group also produces a range of generic, more accessible and everyday wines.
