The wine

A three-star Favreau cognac, aged in oak casks for at least two years. We estimate this bottle for the Italian market to be from the 1970s. The house’’s founder is thought to have begun producing coganc in the mid-19th century using grapes grown at the Favraud family property Château de Souillac. Today the house uses grapes from Grande and Petite Champagne, as well as from Fins Bois. It has belonged to Vignobles Réunis since 2012.
