The wine
A Ducastaing Bernard VI Hors d’’Age Armagnac. Aged for at least ten years in oak casks and named after Bernard VI of Armagnac, Count of Armagnac and Fezensac (1285-1319). We estimate this bottling to be from the 1960s/1970s.
About the Producer Ducastaing
Ducastaing produces Armagnac from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Baco and Colombard grapes. The appellation’‘s three crus are represented in the house’‘s bottlings.
