The wine

A Les Vergers de Plainville calvados. Les Vergers de Plainville is a small producer of regional products (apple juice, cider, pommeau, calvados and cider vinegar) directed by Huguette and Claude Courvallet. Claude Courvallet’’s family originally produced cider for its personal consumption and it was only in the 1980s that they planted some ten hectares of dwarf apple trees (Binet Rouge, Douce Moën, Fréquin Rouge, Bedan, Jus d'Or and Clos Renault), whose fruit they began to harvest in the early 1990s. This Hors d’’Age calvados contains spirits aged for six to eight years.
