Wine for sale: Domaine de l'Ile
Domaine de l'Ile
Rooted in schist and clay soils, the vines are shaped by the sea air, Mediterranean sunshine, mistral winds and morning dew. Harvesting is done by hand, with meticulous sorting in the vineyard. Everything here comes together to craft exceptional Côtes de Provence fine wines.
Owned by the House of CHANEL since 2019, Domaine de l’Île is a historic estate on the island of Porquerolles. It comprises 27 hectares of vines and 5 hectares of olive trees, spread across three Provençal plains: Notre-Dame, Le Phare and Le Bréganconnet. The estate is committed to preserving the island’s ecosystem, certified organic since 2015 and actively fostering biodiversity. Bordered by the sea, the vines thrive in a dry yet temperate climate. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Tibouren lead the dance. Each grape variety contributing its touch in the estate’s rosé blend. As the dominant grape variety, Rolle lends its character to the white wine blend.
