Information
Jean-Jacques Robert has managed the Robert-Denogent family domaine since 1988. It is a small vineyard of five hectares divided between Fuissé and Solutré-Pouilly. The élevage is long and done gently. The wines are classy and full of character.
This cuvée’s Chardonnay grapes were grown on a terroir of just a half-hectare in size, and were planted in 1996. The land is characterised by a soil that is rich in clay, chalk, and limestone. Thus, the wine is particularly powerful with a round, chewy texture. Its touch of pleasant freshness makes it a lovely accompaniment for salty dishes like fish.
