The wine

Located in the prestigious commune of Vosne-Romanée, this small, family-run estate currently under the care of the fourth generation, covers just under five hectares including the La Croix Rameau Premier Cru in Vosne-Romanée. The Pinot Noir, the region’s finest grape variety, used to produce this cuvée thrive in an oceanic climate with a semi-continental influence, drawing the nutrients they need to flourish from the marl and limestone soils, thanks to the estate’s environmentally friendly viticulture practices. The estate also promotes biodiversity by working the soil. In the winery, precise and meticulous winemaking processes conclude with oak ageing, which undoubtedly enhances the wine’s excellent ageing potential. We therefore recommend that you leave this wine to rest in your cellar for quite some time, to appreciate its power, preserved by a silky structure and enriched by a varied bouquet of red and black fruit, sweet spices, humus, leather and fur.
