Concentré et riche, ce saint-joseph est issu de vieilles vignes cultivées de façon raisonnée. Une cuvée à découvrir dans les 10 ans, après quelques temps de garde cependant. More info

Syrah comes from sixty-year-old vines, planted in shallow, pure granite soils with a southerly exposure on steep slopes. They are sustainably cultivated, and harvested by hand. Maceration and fermentation take place in open tanks for a little less than three weeks, with two daily punch-downs. This Saint-Joseph is then matured for 15 months in barrels, with a small proportion of new wood. Its intense garnet colour delivers complex, concentrated aromas of fruits and spices. Its length is impressive. This rich, powerful wine should be drunk in 10 years' time, and is absolutely divine with ravioli, porcini mushrooms and foie gras.

Saint-Joseph L'Olivaie Pierre et Jérôme Coursodon serve at a temperature of 16°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Boeuf grillé ou mariné, Gigot de sept heures, Perdrix rôties à l étouffée et aux lentilles.

Peak: Drink until 2034
