Hubert Lamy signe un grand cru beaunois aux doux arômes de fruits blancs nuancés par des touches de noisette. A cela s'ajoute une belle minéralité. More info
Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru opens up into aromas of white-fleshed fruit (pear), mixed with hazelnut notes. The mouth delivers great minerality with plenty of refinement and length.
The Lamy family has been working in Saint-Aubin since the mid-17th century. Hubert Lamy created his domaine in 1973, over 8 hectares. Today, the domaine covers 18.5ha and produces wines in 18 appellations. Olivier Lamy, who joined the domaine in 1995, has now followed his father into management. Today he is one of the best ambassadors of the Saint-Aubin appellation, which is sadly not well known and is a superb alternative to the Chassagne wines. Less seductive than those of certain neighbours, the wines are superb in their integrity and elegance thanks to a particularly well managed aging process and generally made in 600 litre demi-muids. A not-to-be-missed location in the Côte de Beaune.
