The Rochegrès vineyard in Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais was bought by Maison Albert Bichot in 2014. Only 3.5 hectacres, the majority of the vines are 80 to 100 years old. Like the other estates owned by this historic maison, Rochegrès has been allowed to keep its independance. Alain Margerand, head winemaker since 1987, continues to hold this position. This domain produces beautifully made wines which show promise of becoming a benchmark in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation.
Un beau moulin-à-vent fruité, frais et gourmand, avec tout de même une belle présence tannique qui le rend apte à supporter les viandes.
