This property is named after the lieu-dit where the vineyard is planted. Pierre Raynaud managed the domain until the end of the 1980s when his son-in-law Roland Bensamoll took over the reins. It was then sold on to Pascal Roux, proprietor of Château du Trignon in Gigondas in 1993. After restoring the vineyards and renovating the winery and cellars, Roux sold the property to Jean-Michel Cazes who owns a number of vineyards in Bordeaux including the well-known Château Lynch-Bages. Since this takeover, considerable work has been put into the vineyards and particular attention has been paid to the Grenache vines – symbols of the domain's longevity. Red wines from this property are known for their power and body while the whites are highly prized for their body and aromatic intensity. Both types of wine reflect the richness of their respective terroir beautifully.
