The delightful Domaine du Banneret is nestled in the heart of the legendary commune of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The domain lovingly nurtures five hectares of vines, to produce limited quantities of little-known wines. The winemaker crafts wines from thirteen different red and white grape varieties grown together, lending unique notes to each of the cuvées. The vines, averaging 70 years of age, are cultivated with the utmost respect for the soil and biodiversity. Each parcel is treated individually to suit its needs. Following harvesting by hand, vinification is carried out with minimal intervention. Native yeasts naturally present in the grapes are used for fermentation, while only minimal amounts of sulphur are added to allow the fruit to fully express all its aromas. It is against this peaceful backdrop that the domain produces rich and aromatic wines that reflect the personality of the terroir, sublimated by unique expertise.
