Domain: Château Potensac Located in Ordonnac in the Médoc, Château Potensac belongs to Jean-Hubert Delon, also the owner of the famous châteaux Léoville Las Cases and Nénin. The vineyard extends over 84 ha, on limestone soil, covered by gravelly-clay slopes. Some plots were planted over 80 years ago and the entire vineyard is worked in an environmentally friendly way. The grape variety spotlights the Merlot (46%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (35%), with also a little Cabernet Franc (16%) and rarer still, Carménère (2%) and finally Petit Verdot (1%). This property produces one of the best wines of the Médoc appellation, with a very interesting price-quality ratio.
