Domain: Château Quinault L'Enclos

Discover our allocation of the week: Château Quinault l’Enclos (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru). Thanks to the Cheval Blanc team great savoir-faire and commitment, this 16-hectares vineyard produces complex and subtle wines, with a silky texture. A wine which clearly has the “Cheval state of mind” as said by la Revue du vin de France.

Château Quinault is in the heart of Libourne. The walled 12-hectare vineyard is planted in hot gravelly soil, which raises the temperature in the vineyard a few degrees, resulting in earlier ripening of the grapes. Restored by Doctor Alain Raynaud, these old vines have benefitted from very modern growing and vinification techniques.
