Vintage description 1924 Bordeaux

Beautiful vintage, with an overrated reputation. The wines are generally healthy, quite full-bodied, supple and elegant with bags of charm and a long cellaring capacity. Very good year for sweet wines too, which are particularly rich and sappy, but not as full as those in 1921, 1926 and 1929.
