Vintage description 1925 Bordeaux

A bad year that was, however, too severely judged. The abundant harvest produced wines that are too light but nevertheless pleasant to drink. The year proved to be fairly irregular, but the Sauternes were on the whole fairly good. Their finesse and structure compensated for their lack of richness.
