Vintage description 1967 Bordeaux

An outstanding vintage. A particularly abundant harvest, combined with a poorly controlled yield policy resulted in light and elegant wines. The Pomerols and Saint Emilions are better than the Médocs. The châteaux such as Cheval-Blanc, Pétrus and Trotanoy produced wines of great depth. The Sauternes are legendary. Rich, ample and honeyed, these sweet wines are absolute masterpieces.
