Information
About the producer

Lafarge is a family-owned domain of 12 hectares, established in Volnay since the 19th century. Since then, each generation has strived to make it prosper and grow. In 1949 Michel and his father ran the domain; his son Frédéric joined them in 1978. From 1997 he started to use biodynamics in the domain and since 2000 all the vineyards are organically cultivated.

About the wine

This is probably the most full-bodied wine produced by Domaine Lafarge. The tannins are firm but elegant. On the nose it is wild, evoking spices and game. On the palate, behind these tannins, the wine is highly distinctive. This cuvée needs to age for between 5 and 12 years.
