About the wine
Crozes-Hermitage is the largest of the northern AOC vineyards. Younger than the Hermitage, its southern section that was once used to grow fruit trees was only developed fairly recently. In terms of taste, vinosity and fragrance, Crozes-Hermitage wines are similar to Hermitage without the power or complexity. The Crozes-Hermitage is characterised by a brilliant red colour that develops aromas of red fruits, leather and spices. The Crozes-Hermitage is pleasant to drink young, but can also be kept for many years.
