Marc-Antonin Blain presents a lovely Chardonnay from the 1er Cru La Boudriotte. The estate has a few vines in this very small plot located in Chassagne-Montrachet. Marc-Antonin places great importance on the well-being of his vines, limiting chemical interventions to the utmost. All vineyard work, from pruning to harvesting, is carried out by hand, and the rows benefit from natural cover crops. In the winery, the grapes undergo meticulous sorting before being vinified naturally using native yeasts. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for an average of 18 months.
This artisanal approach results in a nectar with a bright, clear yellow hue The nose reveals aromas of apricot and vanilla. The palate is delightfully indulgent, combining richness with minerality. Marc-Antonin Blain succeeds in crafting a perfectly balanced Chardonnay.
