Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru En Caradeux Rapet Père & Fils 2014

The wine

Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru "En Caradeux " is an intensely perfumed, extremely fruity cuvée that is suitable for aging. A white wine for gastronomic occasions which pairs marvellously well with fish cooked "en papillote" and with pâté en croûte. On the nose it reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit and flint, while on the palate it offers wonderful roundness and mineral qualities.

About the Producer Rapet Père & Fils

Domaine Rapet Père et Fils, is a very old family domaine in Pernand-Vergelesses (confirmed by an engraved 1765 tastevin). The vineyard extends over 20 hectares, spread between Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Chorey-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune. It is managed in a sustainable and responsible manner to minimise phytosanitary treatments. The wines are of a modern style and express the typical nature of their terroir well; they are all the more interesting as prices remain reasonable.
