The wine

The “Pissenlit” (dandelion) cuvée, as its name evokes, was cultivated on a plot where Niellucciu vines were planted in 1966. These vines are organically cultivated on alluvial plains without chemical additives or synthetic fertiliser. At the winery, they mature for 24 months in cement tanks.
This wine flaunts a complex bouquet, where ripe red berries mix with notes of spice, enhanced by a touch of minerality due to the maturation process in cement tanks. Subtle hints of undergrowth and leather add a deep richness to the aromatic profile. The palate boasts generous notes of cocoa and tobacco. This lively red wine conveys a delicate melange of aromas like common rockrose and red berries.
This wine is rich, well-structured and full-bodied, yet is surprisingly refreshing. It is beautifully balanced and elegant, and pairs perfectly with a Corsican charcuterie board or dishes with white meat.
