The wine
This Clos de Vougeot is a concentrated, deep, rich wine, with aromas of red and black berries, plum and slightly spicy notes (clove), and licorice. The palate is medium-bodied, with a silky texture and a beautiful vigour.
About the Producer Gérard Raphet
Domaine Gérard Raphet has a dozen hectares in Morey-Saint-Denis. Gérard Raphet started working on this vineyard in 2002, representing the fourth generation at the head of the family domaine. The vines extend over Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot with several parcels in grand cru and premier cru. The wines of this domaine stand out for their delicacy and the freshness of the fruit
