Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts Joseph Drouhin 2017

The wine

The Vosne-Romanée Petits Monts of Domaine Drouhin is a premier cru from a 0.39 hectare parcel and over 50 year-old vines. This plot, which has been organic and biodynamic since the 1990s, produces highly elegant wines which are ruby in colour and fragrant like Morello cherries. Initially silky on the palate, the tannins are of a very noble grain and become balanced and fresh. The finish is long, rich and flavoursome. A delight.

About the Producer Joseph Drouhin

Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Joseph Drouhin house is now run by the four children of Robert Drouhin. Present throughout Burgundy, but also in the United States in Oregon, its reputation is worldwide. It also has a domain of its own, including a vineyard of 72 hectares.
