The wine

This emblematic cuvée is crafted from Vermentino vines planted in the commune of Macinaggio, at the heart of the exceptional Cap Corse landscape. The region’s shale terroir imparts an assertive character to this wine, the signature of the estate’s cuvées. The estate’s ideal exposure to the sea winds also contributes freshness and minerality to the grapes. The estate has been practising environmentally friendly viticulture methods for several years, and is in the process of converting to organic farming. The grapes are hand-harvested and gathered into small crates before being vinified according to traditional methods, with minimal human intervention. Sulphur is also kept to a minimum.
The golden colour is complemented by an expressive bouquet, combining delicious apple and pear aromas with white flower tones. The full, mineral palate offers outstanding balance and harmonious aromas, leading to a deliciously long, flavoursome finish.
