Lot presentation
Pouilly-Fuissé Ampelopsis Robert Saumaize-Michelin (Domaine) 2013
The wine
Ampelopsis is a rare breed, only being produced in years that are deemed respectable, and only then in tiny quantities. This Pouilly-Fuissé owes its refined aromas, flavours and consistency to a long ageing process, which lasts almost two years. This is a wine made for cellaring, but which reveals seductive white-fleshed and stone fruit aromas even in its youth. Full-bodied and complex in the mouth. A fine food pairing wine.
