The southern and south-western exposure provides the vines with the ideal amount of sunshine for the grapes to ripen properly. Siliceous soils consisting of clay and sand greatly favour the development of the grapes. The grapes carefully harvested at peak maturity are vinified in a balanced, low-interventionist manner, allowing the Macon terroir to freely express its full personality.
The golden colour with hints of silver is complemented by an expressive bouquet bursting with delicious aromas of orchard fruits such as apple, pear, apricot and peach. The frank, expressive attack on the palate gives way to a superb acidic structure, leading to a deliciously long, refreshing finish. This cuvée will display the full extent of its finest aromas in its youth.
