Autriche Kracher TBA N°7 Welschriesling Zwischen den Seen 2010
The wine
This fresh and fruity wine has a herbaceous nose with yellow peach and tangy fruit notes. Its superb acidity enhances its light and perfectly polished character. The wine contains 226 grams of residual sugars per litre and is matured in vats before undergoing 18 more months of ageing.
About the Producer Kracher
The Kracher domaine has earned an international reputation for the quality and sophistication of its sweet wines and has become the standard bearer for Austrian vineyards. Three generations of winegrowers have worked since 1928 to produce consistently excellent sweet wines. It is located close to Neusiedl lake where the climate is propitious to the formation of noble rot. There is a wide range of wines and different vinifications are offered, even for wines of similar sweetness. The wines very clearly reflect the know-how handed down from one generation to the next with an enduring love of wine. They are all perfectly balanced, rich and wonderfully aromatic.
