More infoLes Terrasses de Vallerots is a cuvée from a two-hectare vineyard located on a unique plot above Les Vaucrains in Nuits-Saint-Georges. This remarkable vineyard is characterised by its 12 levels of terraces, planted on untouched land free from chemical treatments, ensuring the purity of its terroir. Exclusively planted with Pinot Noir, the vineyard thrives in marl and limestone soils typical of the Côte de Nuits. The vinification process begins with a cold maceration stage to extract the aromas and colour, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats with native yeasts. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, with 20 to 30% new oak.
This nectar displays a beautifully intenser ruby-red co, our announcing a beautiful intensity. On the nose, delicate aromas of violets and tangy fruit emerge, while on the palate, it is dry and alluring, with balanced acidity and fine, slightly gripping tannins.
