Bourgogne Aligoté Rémi Jobard (Domaine) 2023
13%
0.75L
Intensity
A lively, vibrant 100% Aligoté, with a remarkable balance of acidity and minerality.
More infoThe Aligoté vines flourish on the chalky slopes of the estate, providing the mineral structure for this cuvée. To preserve the quality and integrity of the raw material, the grapes are harvested entirely by hand when they reach peak ripeness. The fruit is then vinified in a traditional, low-intervention way. The white wine is then gently aged in demi-muids, adding a remarkable structure without imparting excessive notes of wood. Lastly, the cuvée is bottled without filtration.
The bright lemon-yellow colour reveals a harmonious nose, characterised by expressive orchard fruit aromas, complemented by floral notes and a subtle hint of toasted almond. In the mouth, a remarkable balance is achieved through superb minerality and fine tension. The whole is magnified by delicious citrus fruit aromas delicately leading to a persistent lemony finish.

About the Producer Rémi Jobard
The Jobard family has been producing wine in Meursault for many generations. In 1993, Rémi Jobard took over from his father Charles (he had already made his first vintage in 1991). The vineyard has been organic since 2005, certified since 2011 (conversion started in 2008). Rémi Jobard is a very talented winemaker, making delicate, smooth and supple Meursaults, which age with class and whose élevage is always neatly carried out. This area is one of the best of the appellation.
