The wine

Dominique Laurent, known for his flourishing merchant business, decided in 2006 to also take care of the maturation and bottling of certain cuvées.
This Nuit-Saint-Georges premier cru La Richemone Vieilles vignes has a nose particularly marked by black fruits like blackcurrant. This wine has superb purity that you can enjoy now or leave to develop in the cellar for a few years. Wine enthusiasts the world over are convinced. Open this at around 16°C with a dish involving veal or a beef stew.

About the Producer Dominique Laurent

Having acquired a real reputation with the wines from his trade, since 2006, with the help of his son, Dominique Laurent has also created a small producer-farming establishment from vineyards leased to a winemaker of Vosne-Romanée. He does not deal with vinification but élevage and bottling. Nevertheless, he supervises vinification. The father and son like to work grape musts that have not been destemmed and to mature their wines without sulphur. They use new barrels, the signature of the maison. Dominique Laurent's entire range of wines is characterised by a high degree of purity and to be accessible to all ages. This recipe has proved its worth to fans all over the world.
