More infoThe Finca L’Argata cuvée, from the Montsant appellation in Catalonia, is crafted from a meticulous blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. This unique terroir, known for its high-altitude vineyards and Mediterranean climate, offers optimal conditions for the cultivation of both Grenache and Syrah. Hand-harvested to preserve the integrity of the clusters, the grapes are rigorously sorted before being destemmed. They then ferment in concrete vats thanks to native yeasts naturally present on the skins. The wine is aged in large French oak casks for approximately 14 months, imparting subtle notes of wood and vanilla while allowing the fruit to remain at the forefront.
This delicate red wine is characterised by its rich garnet colour The nose is complex, with aromas of dark fruits like blackberry and plum, combined with spicy notes and hints of Mediterranean scrubland. On the palate, the wine offers a well-integrated tannic structure, balanced acidity, and a persistent finish, marked by flavours of liquorice and cocoa.
