Puligny-Montrachet Aegerter 2002
The wine
This Puligny-Montrachet comes from a terroir of brown limestone. Its yellow colour gives a hint of its rich and dense aromatic bouquet. Hawthorn, fresh almond, mineral, and white-fleshed fruit mingle with the lactic, buttery, pastry and honeyed notes from the wine’s time in wood. A fleshy and harmonious style make this wine ideal for pairing with creamy cheeses.

Situated in the Côte d'Or, in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the domain is nowadays expertly managed by Paul, who has brought his energy, taking the house's output off the beaten track to produce wines for enophile from all walks of life.
