The wine

The San Luis Obispo Coast appellation lies at the heart of California. It is renowned for its unique weather conditions, where low temperatures and maximum sun exposure guarantee optimum grape maturity. Autrement is the fruit of a meticulous blend of 40% Gamay, 40% Mondeuse and 20% Pinot Noir. This subtle red wine honours the famous Jacques Maillet cuvée, produced in Savoie and bearing the same name, which the Californian winemaker used to enjoy on his visits to France. In the winery, the grapes are carefully vinified allowing the terroir and grape varieties to fully express their characteristics.
the ruby-red colour with subtle shiny reflections reveals an intense bouquet releasing generous aromas of red fruit combined with delicate notes of spice. The palate delicately affirms the aromas of the nose and gently leads to a fruity and persistent finish.
