About the Producer Maxime Cheurlin Noëllat

Maxime Cheurlin, a passionate winegrower, has been running the Georges Noëllat estate in the heart of the emblematic Vosne-Romanée commune since 2010. Here, the region’s flagship grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir, some vines dating back over a hundred years, grow in the region’s finest appellations. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the winemaker cultivates his 10 hectares of vines in accordance with the principles of organic farming. Each parcel receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. In the winery, the philosophy is the same. Vinification is low-interventionist to allow the fruit to fully express all its aromas naturally. The wines are then matured in oak barrels for several months, depending on the vintage. The domain offers authentic, flavourful wines that perfectly reflect the region’s terroir and the meticulous work of a passionate winemaker.
